Google MapUp Karachi was held at City campus of Institute of Business Administration (IBA) on 10th June 2011. After a successful and thrilling mapping event at FAST-NU, Lahore last year, now is the time for a series of mapping events to engage more users from Pakistan. Google Map Maker was launched in June 2008 and since then users from Pakistan and diaspora made number of valuable contributions and change the blank map of Pakistan at Google Maps to what we are able to see and use today.
